3. Gain A Better Understanding Of The Job
What are the job expectations? What will you be expected to accomplish during your first 60 days on the job? What is a typical workday or workweek like? The answers to questions like these will help you get a sense of what will be expected of you as an employee. Basically, you want to get an idea of how to succeed and serve as an asset to the company.
4. Inquire About Your Co-Workers
While the hiring manager obviously won’t provide you with specific information about each of your co-workers, you can certainly ask a few questions about them. For instance, you could inquire about the number of employees with whom you will be working. You also could ask if you will be working as a team, working more independently or perhaps a mix of both.
5. Understand The Job Selection Timeframe
Toward the end of the interview, you might have an opportunity to discuss the hiring timeframe. You might ask what the next step in the hiring process will be or perhaps when the hiring team anticipates making a decision about the position. Be sure to end by stating that you are thankful for the interview, and that you are happy to answer any further questions that might arise.
